Feed recommendation

The dosage has to be adapted to the horse’s breed, size, weight, type and exercise programme. It’s important to take the horse’s individual requirements into account.

• To supplement the roughage in the basic diet: Substitute 1kg Lavisano RedEnergy for approx. 1.5kg hay (regular-sized horses) or 1.5-2.0kg (small horses)
• Rehabilitation: After injury or illness, muscle problems or muscle wasting, or when the horse has an oxygen deficiency, Lavisano RedEnergy can be fed to help it recuperate (restore energy).
• When the horse is in competition training, substitute part of the basic feed with Lavisano RedEnergy. Then, in the week of the competition, feed Lavisano RedEnergy on its own. Always ensure that the horse has plenty of fresh water to drink.
